Ginger & Turmeric

Tadka

Ingredients:

1. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

2. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

3. Urad dal - 1 tsp

4. Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp

5. Red chillies - 1

6. Asafoetida - 1 tsp

7. Curry leaves - 4-5 leaves

8. Oil - 1 tbsp

Procedure:

1. Heat some oil in small pan. Add mustard seeds and wait for it to splutter.

2. Once the spluttering of the seeds begins to die down, add the remaining ingredients and cook until urad dal turns a golden brown.

3. Turn off the heat.
