Honey glazed green beans sauté

This is such a lip-smacking recipe that you'll never make green beans any other way. It is a little sweet, a little sour, a little spicy and a whole lot delicious. I usually buy the washed-and-trimmed microwavable variety because I hate those chores. Prepping is the most boring part of cooking but often times I have been left with no choice. My husbands hides from me on those days for fear of delegation. But, I digress. Beans are a fantastic side to any cuisine. I usually serve this with some noodles or spaghetti (depending on the presence of soy sauce) and I can finish making dinner in about 15 mins.

Ingredients :

1. Green beans - 12 oz (washed and trimmed)

2. Olive oil - 3/4 tbsp

3. Sesame oil - 1/4 tbsp

4. Chilli garlic sauce - 1-2 tsp

5. Honey - 1-2 tsp

6. Miso - 1 tsp (optional)

7. Soy sauce - 1 tsp (optional)

8. Salt to taste

Procedure :

1. Microwave the beans in the bag or a covered microwave safe bowl for 3-4 mins.

2. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and add to a hot pan on medium flame.

3. Once the oil is hot, add the beans and cook until done (about 2 mins).

Note - Don't cover the pan and stir every minute or two. It should technically be ready to eat in a minute but I like to see a little charred portion so I let it cook for a few more minutes.
